You'll learn from Shannon Jamail, ranch owner and therapist-turned-mentor, in her powerful stress reduction workshop. You’ll laugh during group games, get grounded during equine meditation, and reconnect with your creative spark through meaningful hands-on activities.
There’s even time carved out for a wine-tasting day trip, stargazing, and a final night of line dancing.
Whether you're soaking in the dipping pool, journaling on the meditation path, or wrapped in a blanket watching the sun set, this is a place where your nervous system can finally exhale.

Stress Reduction Workshop with Shannon Jamail
Led by the ranch owner and licensed therapist, this empowering session offers practical tools to calm your nervous system and reset your energy. A soulful kickoff to your weekend of ease. -
Creative Horseshoe Art Workshop
Channel your inner artist as you create intentional art using real horseshoes from the ranch herd—designed to ground you in presence and play. -
Equine Breathwork, Meditation & Movement Experience
Spend time with the herd in a unique, guided experience combining breathwork, gentle movement, and meditation. You’ll leave centered, grounded, and with a special essential oil roller as a keepsake. -
Intentional Journaling Path & Optional Ranch Scavenger Hunt
Enjoy quiet time for reflection with journal prompts and mindful markers along the ranch’s scenic paths. For a playful twist, opt into the light-hearted scavenger hunt with fun prizes. -
Yoga & Meditation
Gentle yoga sessions and calming meditation practices will be offered throughout the retreat to support your body, mind, and spirit. With optional upgrade available to beginning aerial yoga. -
A Day Trip to Charming Fredericksburg
Take a full day to explore the historic German town of Fredericksburg. Visit boutique shops, enjoy wine tastings, and savor lunch on your own at one of the many local cafes. -
Evening Games, Goat Yoga Fun & Line Dancing
Laughter is medicine. From the hilarious Goat Yoga Game night (blow up goat) to a festive evening of line dancing under the stars, you’ll find joy woven throughout the experience. -
All Meals by Private Chef Jess Ragland
Enjoy nourishing, ranch-inspired meals prepared with love by Chef Jess—designed to support well-being and satisfy your taste buds. Includes daily breakfast or brunch, lunch or snack, and dinner (except lunch on the Fredericksburg outing). Plus water, coffee, and tea throughout the day and two glasses of wine with dinner. -
Access to Ranch Amenities
Relax in the heated dipping pool, cool off in the plunge pool, unwind in the sauna, or enjoy peaceful hammock time beneath the Texas sky. -
Farewell Brunch on Departure Day

Airfare to and from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
Guests are responsible for booking their own flights. -
Transportation to and from the Retreat Ranch
Round-trip transportation is not included. We’ll help connect guests who wish to carpool or share a ride. -
Optional Onsite Massage
$120 for 60 minutes (plus gratuity). A peaceful way to deepen your retreat experience. -
Optional Horseback Riding
$60 per person for a 45-minute scenic ride around the ranch (Limited to 3–4 riders per group). -
Optional Welding Workshop
$65 per person for a hands-on creative session using real horseshoes (1.5–2 hours, small group format). -
Optional Skeet Shooting
$65 per person for a guided 1.5–2 hour experience (Includes gear and safety instruction). -
Optional Aerial Yoga Upgrade
$25 per person for a playful, beginner-friendly aerial yoga session (limited to 8 participants).
Travel & Arrival Info
Please plan to fly into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)—approximately one hour from The Retreat Ranch.
To ensure a smooth arrival, we recommend booking your flight to arrive in Austin by 1:30 PM on the retreat start date. This will allow time to pick up a rental car and arrive at the ranch by 3:00 PM (no later than 4:45 PM), in time for our first official retreat gathering.
While airport transportation is not included, we’ll help coordinate shared rental cars during our pre-retreat group Zoom call, which takes place about six weeks prior. This call is also a chance to meet fellow guests, get your questions answered, and start building connections before arrival.
The retreat officially concludes at 11:00 AM on departure day. To fully enjoy the final morning without feeling rushed, we suggest booking mid-to-late afternoon flights out of Austin.

At Unbridled Ease, the magic doesn’t just happen in workshops or quiet moments—it unfolds in laughter around the fire, shared adventures, and playful experiences that bring us back to joy.
You’ll arrive to a warm Texas welcome with a ranch tour and a festive cocktail & appetizer gathering. We'll kick things off with a Letting Go ceremony—your chance to symbolically release the weight you’ve been carrying and begin your retreat with intention and lightness.
Throughout the week, you’ll enjoy plenty of opportunities to connect with other incredible women while exploring the charm and beauty of the land. Our Fredericksburg outing offers time to roam, shop, sip wine, or simply enjoy a change of scenery. (One lunch on this day is on your own.)

Grounding Practices for Ease & Embodiment
Throughout your retreat, you’ll be invited to slow down and reconnect with your breath, your body, and the present moment through gentle yoga and accessible meditation practices.
All yoga sessions are thoughtfully designed for all levels, whether you’re an experienced practitioner or trying yoga for the first time. These grounding flows and breath-centered sessions will help you settle into your body, release tension, and create space for clarity and calm.
Weather permitting, we’ll practice outdoors under the wide Texas sky, surrounded by open space and peaceful views—inviting you to truly unplug and return to yourself.
One morning, you’ll also have the option to upgrade to an aerial yoga experience, limited to 8 participants. Suspended in soft fabric hammocks, this playful and restorative practice offers a unique opportunity to stretch, breathe, and flow in a way that’s both freeing and deeply supportive.
Whether you're on your mat or in the stillness of morning meditation, these moments of connection will be the steady thread that grounds your retreat experience from start to finish.
Time to Relax & Explore

While your days will be filled with soulful experiences and connection, there’s also plenty of space to slow down, breathe deep, and follow your own rhythm.
Lounge in a hammock under the trees. Wander the labyrinth or stroll the quiet paths that wind through the ranch. Soak in the dipping pools or unwind in the wood-burning sauna between sessions. Whether you’re journaling on the porch, resting in your robe, or enjoying a heart-to-heart with a new friend—this is your time to exhale.

Optional off-site excursions and creative ranch activities are also available if you’re feeling adventurous. But there’s no pressure to do it all—this is your space to tune in, stretch out, and simply be.

At the heart of this retreat are two powerful group experiences designed to help you quiet the noise, release what’s weighing you down, and reconnect with your inner calm.
Stress Reduction Workshop
Start your retreat strong with this practical, down-to-earth workshop led by ranch owner and therapist-turned-mentor Shannon Jamail, who brings over 20 years of experience in emotional wellness. You’ll learn evidence-based tools pulled from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, nervous system regulation, and breathwork to help calm anxiety, release tension, and reset your energy. Shannon’s approach is warm, relatable, and deeply empowering—giving you strategies you can take home and use long after the retreat ends.
Equine Movement, Breathwork & Meditation Experience
This unique, ranch-based session blends gentle movement and grounding breathwork in the healing presence of horses. You won’t be riding—instead, you’ll engage in a powerful, experiential practice designed to bring you into your body and the present moment. Horses have an incredible ability to reflect our emotional energy, offering insight, connection, and calm. It’s a favorite among past retreat guests and a beautiful way to deepen your retreat experience.
Both experiences are woven into the retreat to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and a deeper connection to yourself—exactly what so many women in midlife are craving.
Provided Meals
Hearty, Healthy & Full of Heart
You’ll be well-fed and well-loved throughout the retreat with nourishing, Texas-inspired meals prepared by our beloved private chef, Jess Ragland. A favorite at every Reshape Midlife retreat, Chef Jess is known for crafting dishes that are both flavorful and deeply nourishing—infused with creativity, warmth, and a touch of ranch flair.
Each day will feature a thoughtfully designed menu to match the retreat rhythm:
some days include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while others offer a late brunch, light afternoon snack, and satisfying evening meal.
We’ll gather together for meals in a relaxed and welcoming environment—whether enjoying fresh air and sunshine or cozying up indoors with good conversation and great food.
