A Midlife Women's Wellness Retreat
Sedona Sanctuary
Sedona, az - October 25th - October 29th, 2024
It's time for DISCONNECTION & INTROSPECTION!
Are you seeking a fresh start, contemplating a new chapter in life, or simply yearning for a much-needed break? If so, our Sedona Sanctuary wellness retreat for midlife women offers a unique opportunity to pause, reflect, and rejuvenate. It’s time to embrace this moment to let go of what no longer serves you and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead.

Our retreat is centered around the theme of disconnection and introspection. We believe that true wisdom and clarity can only be found when we remove ourselves from the noise and distractions that surround us. By disconnecting from the outside world, we create space to connect with our inner selves and gain deeper insights into what life is truly calling us toward.

Throughout your stay, our experienced facilitators will guide you through a series of transformative activities and workshops. Through guided meditations, journaling exercises, and group discussions, you will uncover hidden truths about yourself, explore your passions, and gain a clearer understanding of what life is moving you toward.

The serene oasis of the Briar Patch Inn will be our sanctuary space. You may choose between lodging in our 4-bedroom retreat home or from one of the inn's charming and elegantly appointed onsite cabins, most with wood-burning fireplaces. Wake up to the gentle rustling of leaves and the soothing sounds of nature with the river just steps away. Here, you will find solace and tranquility, away from the chaos of everyday life.

And let's not forget about nourishment – both for the body and soul. All meals are included in your retreat experience, carefully crafted to provide wholesome nutrition while delighting your taste buds. The Inn provides a delicious light breakfast daily and Chef Jess will be creating delectable dishes for lunch and dinner that are not only delicious but healthy! (2 glasses of wine included in the evenings).

Along with daily relaxing yoga sessions, you'll have the opportunity to embark on two days of exhilarating hiking. One day, we'll trek to the world-renowned Devil's Bridge, and the other day, we'll explore the breathtaking Oak Creek Canyon. Between hikes, take time to peruse Sedona's charming shops and galleries. One of the highlights of our trip will be an exciting jeep tour of the Sedona Outback. You'll be amazed by the awe-inspiring rugged natural beauty and learn about the area's fascinating natural energy vortexes. This is truly an opportunity not to be missed!

We believe this stage of life is a precious opportunity for growth and self-discovery. Come, let us guide you on this remarkable adventure. Your inner wisdom is calling – will you answer?

Transportation to and from the airport (a group shuttle from the Phoenix Airport can be arranged at an extra cost if there is enough interest. See below)
-
Travel Insurance (highly recommended!)

Most guests are advised to fly into Phoenix Airport, which is 123 miles from our location. This airport offers the most convenient options for coordinating shared rides, allowing for significant cost savings. While Flagstaff Airport is closer at 23 miles away, it is only serviced by American Airlines. If you choose to fly into Flagstaff, please note that you will likely need to rent a car and may find it challenging to share transportation costs with other guests.

For those arriving in Phoenix, I can arrange group transportation if there is sufficient interest, requiring a minimum of five people. This service will include one pickup on the day of arrival and one drop-off on the day the retreat ends. Therefore, you will need to schedule your flights to align with these predetermined times. The estimated cost for this round-trip service is approximately $150 per person, but this may vary depending on the number of participants. Alternatively, as the retreat date approaches, I will provide a spreadsheet with arrival information so that guests can coordinate rideshares with rental cars, further reducing expenses.

What do I bring?Yourself. That is really it. Ya, we will send you a packing list a couple weeks ahead of time, but really, the main thing you need to worry about is bringing you - all of you. (Some retreat venues have yoga equipment available and some do not, the host will advise you if you will need to bring your own mat and props.)
-
What if I have diet restrictions? When you register please note any special requirements you have. I will do everything possible to accommodate your needs.
-
Can I bring my service animal?Well now this is just difficult to say...but no. Sadly our host locations are animal free areas, including service animals.
-
Are there payment plans available?Yep! Choose the payment plan option with a $500.00 deposit. The remaining balance will be divided evenly by the number of months left to pay (Final payment is due 60 days prior to the retreat). There is no interest on payment plans, however, there is a $25.00 payment plan fee. Your host will contact you with exact payment plan details once your deposit has been made.
-
Who are my retreats suitable for?If you are reading this far- it is definitely suitable for YOU. My retreats are designed for women who want to come connect to other like-minded women- and to themselves. Many of my guests find peace, growth, ridiculous laughter and fun, healing and nourishment of the mind & body. COME.
-
Are your retreats for women only?Yes. Although we have MUCH love for men, our retreats are designed to share sacred, safe space for the ladies.
-
What are the ages of the attendees? So here is the thing; As you have probably figured out by now from the name of my company, Reshape Midlife, my business is geared to women in the midlife years and beyond. That being said, no woman is excluded. Just know that workshops and classes are geared to this phase of life. Because alcohol is served at retreats they are restricted to women 21 and over.
-
What is your cancellation policy?Yikes - NOOOOO say it ain’t so! Ok, yeah, I get it. Life happens. Deposits, however, are non-refundable (boooo I know). You can gift it to someone else if you would like (they are transferrable). Also, I do not offer any refunds on payments with less than 60 days to the retreat start date (another boooo). So, like, please don’t cancel. Just COME. You can read the full cancelation policy here.
-
I don’t really do yoga, or have only done it a few times. Is this still for me?Uh YASSSSS. It is. Whether you have NEVER done yoga or you consider yourself an ADVANCED yogi- our yoga offerings are a fun place to explore yoga & your body. You are not too small, too big, too 'unhealthy', too stiff...you are perfectly designed to attend as you are right now. COME.
-
Is daily housekeeping included?Ahhhh the joys of someone else doing the dirty work! My retreats are typically held in private properties thus there isn’t any housekeeping included (unless noted). I do take care of all the meals outlined in your program and NO DISH DUTY for you! My intention is to cultivate a relaxed, carefree environment.
-
Can I share a room with a friend? If you have a roommate you’d like to share accommodations with, be sure to clearly indicate that when you register for your retreat- and if the room structure allows it, it will happen. Otherwise roommates are selected randomly in shared rooms (trust me you will love everyone you meet!).
